Yes, God Almighty.

Remind me to never again go to New York.

I recall a time that, even without a slight degree of parental supervision and/or morality involved, most females who were not intentionally engaged in having a family avoided having sex with any male because they did not want to get pregnant.

Women used to avoid sex as long as possible to avoid becoming pregnant, is my point. Even aside from religious convictions and/or any other moral motivation, the key thing was that people exercised a greater degree of sexual controls prior to the availability of "abortion on demand," AND, also, most males would, too, to avoid the responsibilities. Those that didn't were undesirable by most girls and were known to be predators, irresponsible, not who you'd want to marry.

People can avoid unwanted pregnancies by avoiding consequential sexual intercourse. What we have today is a whole few generations who never learned about consequences, unfortunately, unaware that they're living on after their "abortions" as murderers, and yet not without penalty to come.

Agreed. However, what is so terribly sad besides the obvious death of the baby, and the subsequent life-long guilt of the mother, is the general lack of awareness about post-abortion syndrome which affects MEN. Men can really step up and impact the decision a women might make, and probably, more would, if only they knew the consequences that they would suffer as well.
