When somebody decides he prefers a Nissan over a Ford, it's not because he can't "handle" Fords, or that he has psychological problems relating to Fords. He just happens to think that Nissans are better made and generate fewer problems over their operating lifetime.

I sense bitterness....LOL

Actually, vast amusement

I'll soon be celebrating my 22nd year with my American wife. She works at keeping me happy, and I try to keep her happy. I think this is the key to a working marriage: when one party is content to accept what the other party gives, without thinking there's any need to work at keeping the other person happy, then there's trouble

I'm in the software biz. Over the last few years, we've had to adjust to the fact of competition from Indian software developers. I don't like it, but not liking it doesn't change the fact that India has some good people, and if I want a job I just have to ensure that my customer(employer) gets a better deal by sticking with me, than he would by buying overseas

Similarly, American women who think that they can offer guys a worse deal than they can get elsewhere (in terms of what is delivered to make the other person happy, versus what is demanded) should be prepared for some long evenings alone with their cats
