Cross-dressing killer Robert Durst should be kept behind bars, his parole officer said at a Texas hearing yesterday....... to an "intermediate sanction facility" jail for parole violators for at least six months.
Stevens said Durst broke the terms of his parole by heading to Galveston, where he admitted shooting and carving up 71-year-old neighbor Morris Black back in 2001.
The 62-year-old Durst, she said, was also breaking the law when he went on a shopping spree at Houston's Galleria mall, where he happened to be spotted by the judge who had presided over the murder trial.
.....his attorney, Dick DeGuerin, argued that "technical violations" should be dealt with through counseling, not time behind bars. "It wouldn't be a big deal at all if it weren't Bob Durst," DeGuerin said after the hearing. "If this was anybody else, all this would be a technicality."

Then again, not every parolee has confessed to murdering then dismembering a neighbor----who also has a wife missing for 25 years---and has a friend found shot to death.
Wealthy New York real estate heir Durst was acquitted of murdering his Texas neighbor while posing as a woman and was acquitted of murder in 2003 after testifying he accidentally shot 71-year-old Morris Black while they struggled over a gun. He admitted cutting up the body and dumping it in Galveston Bay, saying he panicked after the gun fired.
Originally, billionaire heir Durst got nabbed caught shoplifting a sandwich at a grocery store
While living in Galveston, Durst posed as a mute woman and lived in a dingy apartment. Durst is the son of the late Seymour Durst, patriarch of the Durst Organization, a privately held, billion-dollar real estate company that owns several New York skyscrapers.
Not only were they both at the Galleria on the same day, but at the same time - and they happened to cross paths close enough for the judge to recognize him.
Sometimes Mama Luck just isn't on your side.
And its just a matter of time
That guy lives less than a block from me in Houston. I found out last week as the camera shot of his front door on the news looked a little too familiar. What a creepy thing to realize.
You title is wrong - the mall was in Houston. When he was in Galveston he went to the murder - I mean accident - scene.
Talk about the fickle finger of fate...............
Musta been, ah, touching for him to revisit the dismembering........
His and Tom DeLay's.
Ping.
What part of Houston...?
When, oh when, will something stick to this guy??? He needs to be put away so that no one else will have to endure his destructive craziness.
And David Koresh's.
Here in Massachusetts they elect transgendered criminals to Congress.

"Tee hee. So did some other air-heads."
