I agree. About 18 months ago the Pakistanis were claiming that they had killed #2. I can think of several reasons why they would want to deny this, nothing good could come from them letting the US take out this Islam hero on their turf.
I'll wait for the US report. But will the US even get the truth from our allies.

Pakistan is playing both sides of the fence. I find it hilarious that they don't know where he is, but they know for a fact where he wasn't. You can't have one without the other.
I can understand why Pakinstanis would want to downplay an event involving the act of another country firing a missile inside of Pakistan. Minimize the resentment factor. Agree with your comment about AP.
