Are you all sure about that?

I don't know what an "old" German system is - working or police, but there is no such thing that I know of in my lifetime. Which isn't saying too much, but I know of no Schutzhund-related things having to do w/"K" anything. Unless it's just strictly police, or something from long ago.

I think it's just a clever way of spelling 'canine'.

my German Professor told my K-9 was a classification in Police Shutzhund Training when he was there in the Army.

also, K-9 isn't a German phonetic pronounciation of Canine... k is ka, soft k not hard K.

i may have been misinformed but he's dead now so i can't even ask him...
