No mention of it on Debka, so it must be true!
that's alot of Predators.
We knew this SOB was not in Iran. This video on FNC, is that the actual target post-attack, or just some generic rubble in Pakistan?
I have to listen to Batchelor at 10PM.
Cool. I am keeping my fingers crossed.
So tell me, how many times have we heard from the libbies- Bush should be fighting the real terrorists???????? Apparently, Bush has been going after these guys. It does not take an entire battalion to do that- one CIA spy drone, and kerblam!!!!!
I like it when our military "kerblams" the terrorists. Go get 'em guys.
Kunar is where we lost the Seals.
I don't know, I though the hellfires were primarily carried by the Apache helicopter - and were modified for use on the drones.
"They said Osama bin Ladin's deputy, who has been known to stay at houses in the village, may have been one of the victims."
Maybe that explains why 10 Hell Fire missles were used. One for each house he is known to stay at.
I'm OK with me, but I wish I could get a gavel in time for the next Supreme Court nominee's hearing.
WMAL news (local radio in DC): Witnesses said that the compound was "heavily guarded". Locals knew that Al Qaeda was there. They saw the place hit with missiles.
Sorry I don't have the TV on..
MSNBC's report with some addition speculation:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/10842035/
I have gotten the impression that the Pentagon and White House have been MORE interested in getting Zawahiri, because he is the "mastermind"...where Bin Ladin was the "name"...
and, since Bin Ladin hasn't been seen/heard from since before the election last year...Zawahiri could have been the main man...
IF this is a true story...it HAS to have a negative effect on Al-Zarqawi...but, what about Iran?
I'd give you a gavel if you promise to stick it up Teddy's....
And the Dow crossing that "psychological" boundary of 11,000. It's a NEW YEAR.
4 hellfires per drone according to that article.
who gets into that location now to check the place out? do we drop a special forces team in there now? or do we have to wait for the Paki army to reach the location?
The sources said five of those killed in Friday's raid were "high level al-Qaida figures" whose bodies are undergoing forensic tests for identification, ABC reported.
They said Osama bin Ladin's deputy, who has been known to stay at houses in the village, may have been one of the victims.
So if true we sorted thru the bodies,,,,,and selected the best ones.....YeaHoo!!
And the heavy guards said, "Look out!" Just a bit late.
