I hope you understand I meant my comment in jest only. I hold nothing against Chancellor Merkel, and hope never to have reason to in the future. It would just be funny for her to say that because John F. Kennedy proclaimed:

"Ich bin ein berliner!" (I am a donut!)

during a state visit to Berlin.

This day's press conference was very encouraging!
