They don't really feel they won, but they can say that to their moonbat supporters and they will believe it's victory.
But the dem senators know full well they're screwed. The public(minus the moonbats)will see the dems for what they are and this will backfire, imho.

I heard a guy on C-Span say there would be a delay because they never like the minority party to be upset (or some such nonsense) but then I heard Specter (SP?) say it won't be delayed. Anyone know for sure? The sooner they vote, the less chance for these idiots to mount a campaign against their senators. I don't have much chance with Dodd and Lieberman but I'll call anyway.

I'm just irritated with the lack of stones that Frist runs the Senate. The Dems are planning on obstructing everything from now until 08 and they should not be surprised by any parlor trick they use from now until then.
My friends back in DC are proud of that strategy and believe that it makes them look good.
