Seemed like a late and low hit to me by the Steelers guy. What a f**king shame. Palmer is one of the best we've seen.

A dislocated knee cap is VERY serious. You typically wind up tearing everything (tendons, ligaments, cartilage) in the joint.

This could easily end his career or dramatically limit his ability to play.

I hope Palmer can make a full recovery.

I was an AFL fan in 1969 when Bengal quarterback Greg Cook won the rookie-of-the-year award. Cook was injured before the start of the 1970 season, and never made a comeback.

It would be a shame to see it happen again to the Bengals.
