I think the black smoke was an advertisment for the TV program "Lost". Last night's episode had the character, Eko, confront the beast face to face.
Ahhhhh! I guess that would make sense. I dunno... I don't watch it. :/ I'm usually watching E-Ring 'bout the same time it comes on. One of only 2 programs I watch on network tv anymore.
