Always wondered what causes the dreaded double-post!

I have no clue! I'm not a person who likes to repeat myself, and I don't like to give the impression that I'm over-eager.

I suspect the Double Post must be a tweak in the machine...perhaps not a very happy tweak...:o|

except the cardinal!! Want some? By the time anyone in the government figures it out, they'll be well established! And they aren't intimidated by people who try to mess with 'em, neither.

NOT!
I saw lots of birds in Europe that were "familiar" but with the exception of the robin, there were very few that I could name, either by looks or by song.

When Igor and I were campground hosts for the National Forest system, we learned a lot about birds, because, inevitably, someone would ask about birds so they could notify their clubs of the arrival of _______ birds in the migratory path.

They are a fascinating study, I agree. I remember when I was a kid, my grandmother gave me a book of bird stamps. I recall the ones dealing with the Dipper and Purple Martens.

My sister and I grew up with a gal I'm still in contact with today, and we spent a lot of summers driving all around the county, looking for birds. My dad had given me a pair of binoculars for my birthday, and he gave my sister an Audobon Guide.

That was the beginning. While I don't do much of it now, I wish I still had the book, so I could find the birds. There was another book, as well, when we were in the Nat'l Forests...Can't recall the name of it, or I'd be down to Bookman's...

Hopefully, the next one sionnsar hijacks for us will have only a few keywords.
Hey! He only has another day!
(Welcome back, sion!)

Thanks, 'Face! As of this moment, the next one has somewhat fewer keywords than this. I am tired of watching them load over slow dialup...

And yes, the next one is selected, and final calibration of the targeting is underway. I anticipate completing it tomorrow evening, after our church's Shrove Tuesday pancake supper.

OTOH, the way I am feeling tonight says I might have to do it early, *before* the supper -- or wait until morning of the 1st, because I am fading fast from the jet lag. Right now my body clock is somewhere over the Atlantic... it feels like it's way past bedtime.
