Sounds very expensive, who paid for it?

What you say is true, but I thought that Chelsea got a six-figure job with some high-powered company in NYC (courtesy of the Bill-n-Hill connection) when she came back from Oxford. She should be able to live well and independent of her parents on that! I know I could. But, you never know.

Ed was in Congress first. As for the son, he and Chelsea were rumored to be dating even before she went to Stanford. Clinton spokesmen always insisted they were "just friends."

Mommy doesn't necessarily hold the purse strings, but she holds the emotional strings.

"That depends; Is Chelsea self-supportingly employed or does mommy-dearest hold the purse-strings to her lifestyle?"

Well, I was under the impression that, as of three years ago, Chelsea was pulling down big bucks (six figures) as a research consultant. Don't know if that is still the case though.

Agreed. But how much is that saying?

But six figures in NYC barely allows you to get enough subway tokens to get to work and go out one night a week. Or so the NYSlimes reporters say, when complaining about their salaries.

The only difference between Hillary and Ed is that Hillary isn't serving a jail term.
