I would say that Italians in the Northeast, at least in the past have voted Democratic 70/30 as they were mostly blue-collar workers who WERE the Dem base until they went far left.

That's changing. Bush won the Catholic vote and I see more Italians/Catholics coming over to the GOP. Be afraid Dems...be very afraid.

Maybe Kennedy's inability to pronounce an eye-talian name is a clue that he's a bigot. He didn't do that by accident.
