I once called Biden's office and asked the girl if she wasn't embarrassed to be working for the likes of Senator Biden.
Couldn't she find a job with a decent human being.
Got hung up on!!!

Well, it kind of was Graham who made her cry, but not in a bad way. Of course, I haven't heard anybody ask her why she left, but it seemed there were too possibilities.
First, while she wasn't moved by the attacks on her husband, because she knew the democrats were dispicable, Graham's reference to how all those who knew Alito moved her to tears, and the other woman sitting next to her suggested she should step outside so her emotional state wasn't played out on national TV.
Second, it could be that hearing Graham focus on how in fact the democrats were really saying her husband was evil clarified in her mind something she was trying to ignore, and confronted with that truth she broke down and cried.
In either case, while it wasn't Graham's FAULT she cried, it was something he said that triggered her tears. I don't think that is a bad thing -- he should get credit if his words were so appropriate that it made her cry.

I just wish I knew what his POINT is.

Maybe they won't let Alito speak at all today, it's possible.
Just hours of ranting and finger pointing.
Maybe Ted will come out from behind the table and do a screaming mosh dance for us. lol

has Leahy asked a question yet?

I agree with you,he has something that is making these morons go nuts..I think he would have been the better choice for Chief Justice..I have nothing against Roberts either he seems like a very good person and knows his stuff...but Alito has something special that one can see in his answers..He does not falter on any of the questions and his expression is awesome..I think that alone drives the Dem's such as Kennedy mad..They can't seem to break through that armor of Alitos and make him falter in any of his answers..

Graham's reference to how all those who knew Alito moved her to tears I pick this one. It is quite moving to be told that there are reams of favorable testimonials. No way that she thinks the veiled charges of bigotry, dishonesty, etc. have any merit. She shrugs that stuff off as "consider the source."

Yes, he wants to know if Alito believes the constitution allows for the execution of the innocent. Unbelievable.
