He wants to get paid before the whole thing takes a dive. They already missed sales expectations and im sure people will get fed up listening to his crap over and over. Who wants to hear the F word 68 times a morning anyways? I could go down to the local schoolyard and save myself the $12 bucks a month.
Did you see the write-up Family Media Guide wrote?

---I wouldn't do it, you can get arrested if you get mistaken for a perv hanging out on skool playgrounds nowadays. You'r beter off listening to the F word around your buddies. I always give my friends a good dose of the F word so they get enough around me until next time.
I even get compliments it rolls of my tongue so easily. :) I have mastered the fowl language to the extent that it's unconciously rolls out like the red carpet at a strippers convention.
Bingo! Sirrus as I understand it has yet to turn a profit!
Don't let your hatred of Howard Stern blind you to the fact that satellite radio is a huge success and that sales expectations are actually well over expectations. In fact, XM has TWICE as many subscribers as Sirius and they don't even carry Howard Stern. You see, satellite radio is not just about Howard Stern. It's about 100+ stations of commercial free music in every conceivable genre and subgenre. It's about dozens of more stations of news, talk, sports and other formats such as Old Time Radio, Comedy and Religion.
There are currently close to 10 million subscribers paying the $13 a month and that is growing rapidly. That amounts to $130 million in revenues per month and over $1.5 billion dollars a year.
I'm not a Howard Stern fan either but he made a good career move. Satellite radio is here to stay and the vast wasteland that is terrestial radio is on it's way to obscurity.
