I can't believe no one is cracking on the Nigerian aspect - how'd he hear about it? From an e-mail???

If the list on Powerline Blog is to be believed Harry Reid is in the top five being investigated. If true, no wonder he worked so hard to deflect Chris Wallace to the GOPers involved a few weeks ago.
So sad for Congressman William Jefferson, DEMOCRAT, Louisiana.
If he pursues this Abramof thing with 1/3 the zeal he displayed in the Libby case, there are going to be a lot of dirty Congressional asses nailed to the wall. Regardless of party, I for one can't wait to see it begin.
And just for the record, I'll be there are a lot more lib-Dem hides hanging on the wall than Pub hides when this thing finally shakes out.

I want an IQ test on ALL OF THESE CLOWNS. It ought to be required that anyone running for office or submitted for an appointed position or, in fact, any government funded post, must first pass a "duh" test. I bet 90% of elected officials and 99% of bureaucrats would fail.

Title should be modified to remove parenthetical claim that Abramoff's "Congressman A" is a Democrat; the William Jefferson scandal is unrelated to the Abramoff scandal and "Congressman A" is a committee chairman and thus must be a Republican (probably Bob Ney of OH).
