My sister used to live in Spring. (late 1970's). We always used to go to the Spring Cafe (a place of character - ok, a dump - with some of the best hamburgers I ever ate!).

I wasn't here during the '70's but I believe that Spring Cafe is now known as the Track Shack. Every bit as greazy and grimy as it sounds, but it has some of the best damn hamburgers and (Fridays only) ribs you'll ever have. Drop by and I'll treat -- not because I'm so loaded but because it's also very inexpensive.
