In the old days, the Cook County Clerk would have sent over a flunky to talk in code. Something like
Flunky: "Hey Stosh, I need help getting some Sox tickets if ya know what I mean..."
Stosh: I hear ya, I'll ask around then winks confirming deal is closed. I can get you 6 (meaning 60,000$)
Flunky: Hey thanks but I need 8 cause some friends might want to come ("I need another 20K to slide to someone else")
