My question is, why were any Republicans so fearful about putting forward a Conservative like Alito? These Democratic Senators are making such asses out of themselves, Bush could appoint anyone he wants. The MSM are fit to be tied and the American people either don't care or feel its the President's right to appoint anyone they want.
When/if Stevens or Ruth "Buzzy" Ginsburg retires Bush should assured to appoint Brown, Owens, etc. with extreme confidence.

I'm listening and not freeping much, but I'm surprised when Sen. Brownback listed some of the bad decisions made by SCOTUS that Kelo wasn't mentioned.
