Another beautiful moment was when Durbin kept talking about how Alito always sided with the big guy against the little guy. As his first example of a case where he sided with the little guy, he used a case where a kid was bullied at school for presumed alternative sexual orientation -- Alito supported his parents in their appeal to be allowed to take him to another school district.
Talk about something chosen to be a perplexing "in your face" to the Democrats: school choice for gays!
