I was just reading the transcript of the questioning by Senator Graham. I am blown out of the water by Alito's exceptional memory and ability to cite cases. He is an encyclopedia of legal knowledge and to not have this individual on the SCOTUS would be a crime.

Alito will make it -- Begala and Carville both said so on the Today Show. Except for a few very blue areas of the country, opposing Alito is a losing political strategery.

So much for GWB being a "lame duck". If you ask me, the 'Rats on this Committee look pretty lame.

He does seem very smart, but I suspect he gets to see the Republican's questions in advance. In addition, he has had several weeks to review the cases the Democrats are likely to mention (they are pretty predictable).
