Kennedy evidently sent a request in the form of a letter (though he said e-mail) for a subpoena for CAP papers at the Library of Congress.

I wondered at the time, and I still do: Why would Kennedy say that he wanted to subpeona the Library of Congress for documents? Why a subpoena? It's the Library of... who? again?

It's their own library... can't they just send somebody over to look for whatever they want? Yeesh...

All the swimmer had to do was read the article in the NYSlimes. They had the papers and wrote that clearly Alito had no involvement in the running of the organization.
