While the punishment may be harsh by some standards. The Iranians do seem to protect the offenders right to choose.

Whats Iran's policy on pedophiles?Government sanctioned as long as it's done against little girls.
Age of marriage for girls AFTER khomeini's landing? 9.

The ACLU only makes a stink when gays are being "oppressed" by Christians. That's because they know the Christians won't hunt them down and saw their heads off with a rusty blade whilst shrieking incantations to the moon-god.
But Islam is a Religeon of Peace. The President told me so.
To: Lorianne
That's messed up. I don't hear any condemnation from gay rights groups. They are too busy bashing America. Useful idiots.

Who says the Islamofascists aren't pro-choice?

There may be a middle ground, but if it's either giving them capital punishment or giving them "marriage" and 4th graders for graphic sex instruction then Iran is doing better than parts of the US are.

That's religious stare decisis. The Prophet had a few little girls in his harem and as wives.

And one interesting irony in such cases is that the soldiers in this scenario would not be considered homosexual in any way.. I was going to point out the same observation. Would the soldiers think twice about the implications of raping a homosexual?

Thanks for the ping.
Since homosexuality is a capital crime in Iran, that should be somewhat of a deterrent to refrain from engaging in same-sex sexual behavior.
As I see it, homosexuals are confused and should be provided with information that it's possible to leave the lifesyle, not tortured and executed.

Frank: I fell on some Fusilli.
Estelle: Fusilli?
Frank: You know, the corkscrew pasta. It was a Fusilli Jerry. It got stuck in me. Had to go to the proctologist.

No problem with God sending them to Hell for eternity though ?

A homosexual who ends up in hell does so because he/she has not accepted Christ's gift of Grace. No other reason. The same for all of us. In essence, they have sent themselves to hell. They have chosen hell over heaven. We wouldn't want to force them into a place (heaven) where they don't wish to be, in the presence of a Being (God) that they don't wish to be around, do we?

So I suppose there are a bunch of gays flouncing around heaven, preening each others wings, who have accepted the gift of grace ?
