Oh, I'm being deployed to re-branch MI from Armor, and to take some UAV training since I just picked up a higher security clearance.
If lucky, I may just be the guy to kill OBL ;)

HiJinx and SandRat will both be around at some point this evening! Also - I just remembered - Old Sarge has been out there as well. Don't know if he'll be checking in or not tonight.

What do you want to know? I've lived in Sierra Vista for nearly 20 years and I know the area, to include Fort Huachuca, very well.

Hey bud, I need info on the base if possible. My BDE CMDR said to stay at the Visiting Officer Quarters (VOQ), but Im 34 and hate young, loud officers looking to prove something. Do you know of any nice apartments/condos that will be in my $55/day per diem for lodging?
Plus, I am doing alot of flying lately and need POC's for FAA flight training and local shooting ranges.
I am an investment banker in real life, and will be calling on banks in the area when I get off active duty, so any financial contacts would be cool too.
Thanks in advance!

Oh, yeah, what is entertaining in area? I have never been to SE/SW of the United States. I like the fact that I'm close to Tuscon and Tombstone...I like old Westerns, etc. I also love a good meal ;)...which leads me to my next question....what is terrain like...I'll be doing alot of jogging and biking in the area.

>>>local shooting ranges.
It's called the desert. :)
When I get home from work - I'll private message you the e-mail address of my HS classmate - he's got quite a gun collection he likes to take out.
