BANGOR, Maine Former President Bill Clinton surprised U.S. troops arriving from Iraq when a refueling stop for his private plane at the Bangor International Airport coincided with the arrival of two flights carrying soldiers.
Clinton was returning Monday night from Paris where he had met with French President Jacques Chirac to discuss plans for his charitable organization, the Clinton Foundation.

Agreed.
IF G.H.W.Bush hadn't angered the base AND been competing with Ross Perot for votes, Clinton would not have been elected.
And IF Bob Dole hadn't been such a dud of a candidate AND competing with Ross Perot for votes, Clinton would not have been reelected.
But, Clinton DID win fairly both times (something the kooks who've taken over the Democratic Party can't bring themselves to admit G.W.Bush did) and in politics nothing is handed to candidates without being earned by the hard work of convincing people to vote for you.

I was there...I work at the airport, no booing or hissing, just praise and adoration from some of the liberal troop greeters...yecch. On different note, anyone want to give me a bid on an apron signed by Klintoon himself? I start the bidding at $5.
