Year after year, show business bases its most significant accolades on politically correct posturing rather than popularity, so it's high time to drop the stupid myth that says "Hollywood cares only about the financial bottom line."Think I'll skip the Oscars Show this year.
Why watch?
Networks won't like a lot of folks tuning out. In a couple of years the Oscars can join Trump's Miss America Pageant on the Country Music Channel.

I stopped watching that waste of time in the late seventies.
Haven't missed it at all. Not even a tiny bit.

Think I'll skip the Oscars Show this year. This year?? I haven't watched them in at least 5 years, and I am actually embarrased to admit that I used to watch them at all. And for the record, of the "didn't see" lists floating above so far, I have seen Star Wars and Wedding Crashers, but none of the rest. I would like to see Narnia, but no desire to see any of the rest.
