It's not interference, it's opening up markets. You protectionists on the other hand want to restrict trade, force consumers to make choices that are, in the end, going to be made in Washington.

Yet you claim to be conservatives. That's definitely twisted.

If "Free Trade" were a capitalist movement, it would be privately financed, by definition. It isn't, so it isn't.

Are you using the B. Clinton dictionary?

No, it's a handout.....not a hand-up. I would countenance a loan to developing countries, secured by the resources/mines/wells that were developed with the funds. That's the adult solution to the quandry of having natural resources trapped in the ground, and no money to develop them. It would probably also be advisable to provide project management oversight....lest we set them up to fail.

Giving them a handout, is socialistic.
