I'm listening to it on NPR. It sounds to me that it is a concerted effort by the Dems to DISTRACT from Alito's answers.
Knowing how liberals operate, I'm pretty sure that is indeed the intent of the back ground noise distractions. (By the way... they work).
Couldn't be simply that they are not used to working and therefore can't sit still while at work?
