I do love Senator Sessions!!! He said he agreed with Senator Biden that Alito had been very open and responsive. Sessions did exactly what I hoped a republican would do....Use Biden's compliment about Alito's openness to make mincemeat of what I knew the democrats would do.....accuse Alito of not being responsive.
LOL! During the lunch break both Kennedy and the ACLU accused Alito of not fully answering the questions. And they did it bare minutes after Biden thanked Alito for his responsiveness. Ya think maybe that will teach Biden a lesson? Naaaa

I'm having a flash of insight. Sessions asks Alito about not reaching a decision preematurely, and Alito goes into detail about how a judge must not go into deliberation with an agenda, or a pre-conceived notion, or prejudice. How important it is to keep an open mind until he's heard all the facts. (this is a theme, a promise Alito has made about how he decides cases.)
No talking head will bother to point out how apt it would have been for Alito to compare a judges responsibility to the democratic senators on this panel WHO WILL VOTE AGAINST him no matter what he says!
