Vanguard was asking, "Do we put the money in customer A's account? or customer B's account?" Vanguard stood to gain or lose nothing as a result of the decision. Vanguard was not a defendant in the sense that people would think of "a defendant."

I have got to say- in a Senate dominated by Rinos, the Republicans are stepping up. One by one, the Republicans are coming to the defense of Alito. They are standing up for Alito and going back and giving Alito a chance to answer questions on what the Dems are accusing him of.
It has been a long time since I have seen the Republicans stand up and fight for the President- but they are doing it during these hearing. Wow!
