:-) I spent many years working with and for lawyers and focused on the word because.
I have also worked in many dysfunctional environments where I was able to turn a negative operational situation into a positive. I am glad that I never had to worry about my credibility because if I did, I would have been dead in the water given the depth and scope of the corrections I had to make happen.
Judging from some of the things you have posted on the Tony Snow thread...I have gotten the impression that you have a very, very responsible job...and I have been impressed with your attitude...
even when problems have arisen...I would certainly never question your credibility or qualifications at all.
Now that you say that you have worked around lawyers...I can truly understand where you are coming from...I haven't worked for lawyers, but for doctors...and they are also very "precise" in their use of certain words....like "because" or "basis".
