You know, I'm just jumping in here without reading the thread, but it seems to me that Alito is so bored with these Senators. It is as if their questions are so simple for him.

Just heard NPR's Nina Totenberg: paraphrasing...Alito is no Roberts...That is, he's not wowing the committee, but he's also not sticking his foot in mouth yet..
