Tory Clarke she doesn't think the democrats have a strategy for thwarting this nomination. She made fun of how Biden botched the Princeton subject with his personal references.
Bill Press says Alito's strategy today was "to do himself no harm.". Press said Alito didn't provide any answers.
(Biden said just the opposite,remember.)
Press does admit "no blood on the floor" about the Princeton issue.
Press says the big issue is "presidential power".
And Alito lays waste to that concern. He'd find against the government and against the president, if the Constitution indicated that outcome.
