>>WHAT HYPOCRITES!

>>THEY WON'T DRINK ALCOHOL BUT GLADLY SELL IT TO YOU !!

Sure. If you're drinking, you're just a low-life infidel.

Muslims fighting other Muslims is better than Muslims fighting with God-respecting people (non-Muslims).

Sharia also prohibits riba - that is the receiving of interest on money. Presumably the nation of islam keep their cash in a shoebox under the bed then. . . .

If so, we should sic MS-13 on them, and hope for high casualties on both sides.

I remember when this first was news that radio commenters and the newspaper downplayed the Muslim angle, including denying the attackers were Muslims at all. I'm surprised that the story reappeared, stressing that part.

I was just wondering how many shotguns and shells would have been needed to protect the property. I wouldn't operate otherwise in such an area.

Who did the radio commentators want everyone to think was smashing up the liquor stores? Tee-totaling Baptists?

It is an interesting story, lots of things that are just plain wrong going on. First of all, the complaint that there are too many liquor stores in inner city neighborhoods has been around for a long time. Many "community activists" who are not Muslim bring this up and want daddy government to do something about it. Did it ever occur to anyone that these stores stay in business because there's a demand for the product in the neighborhood? Did it occur to anyone that when "healthier" businesses try to come to these areas, they fail? Perhaps these communities should address the causes for this than penalizing business owners who are catering to a demand that's already there.

Secondly I am very surprised to hear that the Middle Eastern Muslims and the Nation of Islam folks attend the same mosque. Everything I have read about NOI indicates that all other Muslims consider them heretics. For example, NOI believes that its founder Elijah Mohammed was an incarnation of Allah. The notion of an incarnation is an anathema to all other Muslims - a central tenet of Islam is that God has no body, no son, nothing of that sort (in reaction to Christianity).

I would try to line them up so I could get them both with one shot.
