This might be interesting if there were some testable hypotheses. Like, "The black box will generate a higher-than-normal number of 0s before a major earthquake." You can test that - either it holds true or it doesn't. Otherwise, we just have a magic box. Big deal, I have magic shoes that fly me to the moon every night. You just can't see me.

Interesting. People may scoff, but I personally know someone who quite regularly, and quite accurately, sees into the future. Not kidding.

Interesting.

Although many would consider the project's aims to be little more than fools' gold

Put me in the fools gold category please.

So what? Can you explain it?

I didn't think so.

Some may compare this to the birthday phenomenon, where if you go into a room with like 25 people in it, odds are pretty high that two will have the same birthday.

Not exceptional from a math point of view. Same deal with people thinking "the phones gonna ring" then it does, and the person automatically thinks they're Kreskin. But in fact most times people think it's gonna ring, it doesn't.

Yet there are extraordinary coincidences. That statement by itself explains the crux of the matter, because what we are really trying to figure out here is whether they are coincidences or not.

I am still undecided. It seems that if somebody came along like Uri Geller who really could do it, we'd see him at a casino for a couple months, then he'd be retired with alot of babes.

And while I have been quite spiritual my whole life, lately my faith has faded. Faded to a point that man or machine can't give me an answer.

It's a bum game we gotta play, believing in a God who can't even come out and make a plain statement he exists. What kind of rules are that?

But there seem to be patterns that exist on a very, very deep level. In the end, perhaps we will understand it all. Alpha and Omega kind of stuff, the end turns around to be the beginning.

I'm errr...pulling for the Redskins this weekend. I went to high school in the DC area and became a fan as a teenager. I'm delighted to see them doing well again.

I can guarantee you it won't be my primary team, the Houston Texans. LOL

I wonder if the black box can tell us who the Texans are going to use that top draft pick on?
