I recognize that there are bad apples in every bunch, and still have tremendous respect for the Martial Arts. The last several years, I wanted to go back and start again, but several years of complicated pregnancies limited all my physical activity (had trouble keeping my babies inside me).
I found a wonderful Tae Kwon Do master for my son, but he was little too young and unfocused to stay with it. We're going to give him some time to mature and try again. They offer family classes, too, in a great environment, so when the medical bills from our latest blessing (a boy, born in November) are behind us, I can consider taking it with my son and daughter. I want her to learn, too.
I'm glad your students had you!
Good Morning WTTX,
Thank you for the kind words and it is never too, late to learn.
Training together as a family is a very good idea and you all will benefit.
Normally students are the by-products of their instructor. You can tell by their attitude, character and self discipline, if they have truly learned the "Doh." "The True Way" of karate or martial arts.
I just wish your family and you the best in life always. Take care and when you are able to train again remember this, "Every Journey Begins With The First Step."
Respectfully Your's
