I agree, but had he used sweet words to mislead, destroy and mock ultimately your husband in your eyes, the corrupting dumbing down results would have been the same.

Some anger puts undue guilt on people while other anger seeks to remove a yoke, as in when Christ whiped money changers out of the Temple. Ultimately, for a man, overcoming scars, legit or not, makes him more beautiful and prouder, though, but you are right, there is a point where it becomes saddistic and both it and irresponsible mazochists must be removed.

Actually, any attack on my then-future husband I considered an attack on myself (and still do). When I realized that my teacher's behavior towards my husband had changed because of Tony's connection to me, I lost all respect for the teacher.

He was placed in a position of authority; he abused that authority for his own selfish purposes. That made the teacher less of a man in my eyes, and unworthy to teach my husband or myself.
