Tijeras:
My friend, I can tell you first hand that the CORPSMEN that I saw and served with in WWII were not objectors of anything. I have said on this forum many times that the bravest and most courageous men I have ever seen were CORPSMEN. On Fonte Ridge on Guam in 1945 I seen a CORPSMAN run out in front of our lines and pull back in a MARINE that had been a forward observer and was wounded badly. The bullets were flying all around him, but he pulled that MARINE back in and saved his life. I seen this in person. I do not no of any MARINE that does not respect the CORPSMEN. (Jack Murtha excepted.)

Good evening and the very best to you and yours.
