I've got one thing to say. These Lance Cpl.'s that have more than two combat tours should be promoted to Sgt.! I understand what I said and I understand promotion systems. This is the way I feel. I hope the Comandant of the Corp. and General Pace hears me.

If all Marines had the same opportunities to deploy, I would agree. But some Marines raise their hand to go numerous times and do nothing more than sit CONUS.

In fact, there is much to be said of the Marines who can't go. They are not in harm's way, of course. But, they must perform the same amount of work as before with sometimes a third of the manpower. Without these Marines, the warfighters would not be able to carry on their mission ;)
