How is the post-debate spin going on the networks? I can't find an Internet stream now except CPAC and that's just party hacks arguing at each other.

I'm watching The National now via the net. I also see an Ipsos Reid
post-debate snap poll for Global National has Harper winning it 34-31. All good news. I'll go to bed with fingers and toes crossed.

Leger Marketing scientific poll was conducted on the Internet with 1,107 representative adult Canadians who watched the leaders debate last night.

IMHO, barring some incredibly vile & msm aided & abetted last minute Liberal trick, Stephen has now "sealed the deal" and only the question of the size of his electoral payoff remains in doubt.
Two post-debate observations:
Martin should be absolutely hammered for the remainder of the campaign for advocating the formal institutionalization of Canada's current de facto Judicial dictatorship. Suggesting that the nation should be run by legal hacks whom he alone appoints effectively spits on the graves of every wartime casualty Canada has ever suffered & literally reeks of treason as well as open contempt for the very concept of democracy.
On a more humorous note, is it just me or has Jack Layton gone from coming across as a car salesman to way more of a funeral director ???
It got to the point where, every time he stated "you have another option", I thought he was going to start explaining the benefits of cremation - LOL!

I also see an Ipsos Reid post-debate snap poll for Global
National has Harper winning it 34-31. I happened to switch to CTV at about 11:05pm EST last night
and I saw one seasoned "political commentator" state that Martin was not the
"clear winner" in the debate that he needed to be.. The implication
was obviously that he was equal or close to being the winner, but not the "clear"
winner.
Sometimes you kinda wonder if these guys were watching the same
debate we were.
Well, I'll watch the French debate tonight, cause you know
Martin has got to get real ugly now. He's got nothing to lose.
I suspect he'll play the "Harper has Yankee values" card (hard
work, family, military, honour, truth, punishment to fit the crime,
tax cuts, support for small business and the working family, etc).
All pretty scary stuff, eh?? ;-D

Anyone know how far south does the CBC cable TV feed extend into the US heartland? I know, Buffalo, Seattle, Minneapolis, Detroit, all have CBC. Any others?

Don't know, channel 9 out of Windsor is in the Detroit area, can watch even when the cable is out.
To: fanfan
It took me a couple of hours, going through my old posts to find out what Mrs. Springman had said, about the debate.

You are doing better than I am.
I'm trying to find some pictures in my cell phone, but apparently I've taken over 175 pictures of the inside of my purse.....still looking tho!
What does Mrs. Springman think of our young Conservative now?

Well Mrs. Springman likes him, however she isn't political. One thing I keep kicking myself over about is not getting a one use camera!!!
Could have taken pics of all of us and mailed them to you. Guess I wasn't thinking right, nerves I guess.
Well, Mrs. Springman had to go to work today, something with the books, and it's been raining, no yard work, so had a chance to look up old posts.
BTW, I saw, I had talked to kawana, about Coronation Street!!
PS, did you get to meet GMMAC?

No, we didn't get a chance to meet, as my schedule was too tight in Toronto.
Next time, hopefully.
