I've been to a number of Super Bowl parties (>50 attendance) the last few years. In descending popularity were the unique/creative commercials followed by the half time show (though to see how awful it was put together) and then by the ususally boring game.

The Stones themselves may look like they are straight from the crypt, but if you add a bunch of their elderly fans, it will look like a re-make of "Thriller".

I did last year with Paul McCartney and will this year with the Stones. I wouldn't if it was the greatest marching band in the galaxy.

But I'm also realistic enough to know that a camera panning over a stadium full of gyrating 40+ year-olds will induce mass vomiting on a continental scale.

I attended a Stones concert in '81 (the "Start Me Up" tour), and they barely missed the "old farts" label then. I don't think I want to see them "rock" now that they're grandpas.
