Gay and legally married By Terry Bush Posted January 9 2006
We finally tied the knot! My husband and I got married in Vancouver, B.C., Aug. 17, following with a cruise to Alaska. Having been together for eight and a half years, we could now express our feelings to each other publicly and become part of this institution that we have witnessed friends and family members join throughout our lives. I finally got to experience and feel what they did on that special day.
The difference here is that we are both men.
Some people are trying, in the name of the Lord, to do everything in their power to stop this from happening in the U.S., and I feel sorry for them. There is no basis for their claim. Picking and choosing Bible verses is what they did to try to stop integration and interracial marriage.
My first relationship of 18 great years ended with the other's death 10 years ago. I was not "privileged" to marry at that time.
I say "privileged" because those who are trying to keep me in second-class status take this action for granted. Heterosexuals can get married one day and divorced another.

But they are the Master Race. Just look at his disdain for hetero-sexuals.
What part of abomination dont they understand?
This is filth. He is not married by measurement.
Yeah right....
He did not mention why his first sex partner died...I wonder if his superior, homosexual lifestyle killed him? Homosexual sex is deadly and it is no wonder those who are a part of the culture of death would want to glorify promote that sexual activity. The more dead people, the better!
Is there a more overused term than "second class"? This guy needs a reality check if he thinks not being permitted to marry another man constitutes oppression. Perhaps there's a concentration camp survivor or relative of gassed Kurds who might offer him a clue.
I don't think Florida recognizes this "man's" supposed legal status.
Does that make you the wife?
If the gays are trying to show that "marriage" is such a failure in the heterosexual world why in the Hell do they want it so bad?
My husband! Look up the definition of husband there if you are also a male Ms. Whatcha ma call it.
Great. I can't wait to marry my dad and get his pension. /sarcasm
It's called liberalism, they don't think, they feel.
As a practicing Libertarian and a dedicated christian servant, homosexual civil unions do not bother me BUT I do not understand how one can ever define such as "marriage".

How can they both be husbands? How disgusting. And Florida does not recognize homosexual marriages - yet at least.
Don't be fooled by any of that nonsense- especially their attempts to justify their sodomite filth with the 'we're just like you, we only want to love each other' argument, and manipulation of positive feelings such as patriotism, etc. , as well as suggesting that heterosexuals are being insincere and hypocritical, seeing as how divorce is so easy to obtain. Perhaps they should ask their lesbian friends over in the feminist movement just HOW it came to pass that it is now so easy to end a marriage! The queers will have the normal unwary questioning their own values and compromising in order to 'get along' in no time flat, and THAT is their diabolical agenda!
