Yea right. Democrats with an R you are dreaming
Rinos vote with the leadership about 80-90 percent of the time. Plus if they were to defect to the dems as a group, they would flip control. They don't do this because they really are republicans and your comment is way off target.

Why would anyone want to bribe a republican senator?
It seems Harry Reid is the true power broker!

All the more reasons why we badly need the TERM LIMITS !!!
The bastards have taken all the advantages of the system and milked it for all they can get!
Both DIMS and Pubblies! Clean up the Congress!
I am one very angry Conservative Pubbie! How dare they ruin the name of the Republican Party (along with the Democratic Party)!

You seem to think the GOP will take a hard hit, but who knows what Congressweasels Duke's wire will send up the river? Speaking of pretty broad cross-sections--there are plenty of Rats on both sides of the aisle.

No more "sad" than the deprived and abusive childhood of your average serial killer. The man betrayed his oath, his constituents, and his solemn duty to his country for the sake of a few bucks, and what he did in his youth can't wash away that stain. It is sadder for us, an America where more heroes are trashed with every passing day, than it is for Cunningham.

"I agree. I hope he has sent the lot of them down the river. Democrats and Republicans alike."
Exactly. If they're caught selling out the country to whatever buyers Cunningham professed to have a pipeline to, they ought to go to jail. No matter what party. No matter how many people here think it's wrong to hope scumball incumbents go to jail because they happen to have a -R after their names.

"Unfortunately, this may be the "culture of corruption" to which Nancy Pelosi was referring."
Sadly, but then, Hillary is also in the Abramoff net. I hope none of our stalwarts is busted, but if they are, they weren't good conservatives, now, were they?

"You won't find any of the traditional rinos guilty of corruption because the rinos are not playing ball with the leadership."
LOL. Not GOP-leadership-type corruption, anyway. I would be very surprised to find the RINO pork squad was squeaky-clean.

"I have a theory. The wire trapped nobody and the investigators are releasing this in the hopes that a nervous Congressman or two will come forward."
Pretty decent theory, given the usual closemouthed nature of corruption investigators. We'll see. One can only hope if that is the case, it fools a couple of `em.

Also the defense contractor MZM mentioned in some articles also heavily supported John Murtha. You don't say? Wouldn't that be ironic!
