Now, THIS could see things moving in DC...

So this wire is important but the MSM didn't think too much of the Ray Reggie wire not be used in the Rosen trial.

I hope he sold out all of them. You will never find a more wretched hive of scum and villainy than D.C. The only way it'd be better news is if he went after RINOs first.

"Duke" Cunningham was the Eddie Rickenbacker of the Vietnam War and now this scandal is what he will be remembered for.
It's a sad situation.

I have no problem with this investigation, but I am truly dismayed that there was not the similar type investigation over the liberals using "RED" Chinese dollars to fund themselves and their elections. How about Soros and his pot of money.

I just cannot wait for the moment to see the libertarian party moving from its 0.25% support among voters to become the super majority party in America. (Sarcasm beyond belief).

WoW could you imagine if Hillary got into office? She would work in cahoots with evert RINO in Washinton and put a wire on them.... Abuse of power you say? I bet she would do it. Heck Bill thought it was ok to do physical searches of Americans homes without warrants.

The former Vietnam flying ace and war hero... Former? Cunningham, albeit a corrupt congressman, is still an ace and war hero.

I agree. I hope he has sent the lot of them down the river. Democrats and Republicans alike.

How about Soros and his pot of money. The Soros scandal will come in the appropriate time when it is closer to the elections so it will have a stronger impact.

Over eighty members and congressional staff are, according to a senior Senate investigator, under scrutiny for political kickbacks, bribes, and political favors on behalf of Abramoff. The scandal is said to include lobbyists, political operatives in Washington and a number of government officials including high-level aides.
Ouch.

I wish I was smart enough to id the people who cosponsored legislation with the Duke. Or determine just who Cunningham considered his "close friends". Perhaps that would be one way to determine a few to the other folks being targeted.

This same official said that it was doubtful that Justice Department and FBI officials would have told congressional leadership or the Capitol Police given the sensitivity of the probe. Hmmm - wonder if he wore this wire to any classified discussions or meetings? That would seem to present a problem in the world outside of Congress - don't know if they make special rules inside congress, but I do remember when Harry Reid played his little stunt and called for a closed session of the Senate they had to go in and so a sweep to clear out cell phones, pagers, etc. items that cannot be in a classified meeting.

I will believe that when it happens. I would like to see all those Soros benefactors that stopped ANWAR under the same type of investigation.

Unfortunately, this may be the "culture of corruption" to which Nancy Pelosi was referring.

It totally sucks. I havent gone to the San Diego Aerospace museum to see if they took his name off the F-4 in the museum or not.
The shock was who who was, not what he did. We expect to be let down by politicians. Not by heros.
