He is redeploying back to the sandbox or from the sandbox back here? God bless you Jumper! Prayers with you, my hero, wherever you are! (((hugs)))
LE...I tried to send this post to him too, but it wouldn't accept jumpmstr4u2 as a FR name. ??????

I'm so sorry! There's no 'u' after the 'j'. O darn, now that I'm FReeping more frequently, these things happen!!
From the sandbox, please God!! We're awaiting an update; you know how they keep them incommunicado while redeploying...

Well, if you hear from him...pass on my prayers. God bless him...and all of them! It is nervewracking not to hear anything! My son leaves for Bahrain in 3 days. He'll be out on a DOD ship for 2 months. Prayers for him, too, please!

I will let Greg's Mom know that you pray for him.
And now I am surprised to hear that David is going out again so soon; and certainly, dear Luv, I will be praying with you... Hugs :-)
To: La Enchiladita
Thanks...moms love to hear that their kids are being prayed for. And thanks for praying for mine! (((hugs)))
He goes out for these trips about every 6 months. I think this is the last one, though. He gets re-assigned pretty soon and he is really glad, too. It was an adventure at first, but after getting married, it isn't quite so much fun! LOL!

you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness,
so important...that THOSE WHO ARE SPIRITUAL (not legalistic) do the RESTORING (not admonishing, although that might be part of it)

"If a man is overtaken in any trespass, you who are spiritual restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness, considering yourself lest you also be tempted" (Galatians 6:1). I just now finished reading and praying over that very passage of Scripture in my personal devotions this morning! I am in awe of how our gracious God through His Word and Spirit "works all things together for good to those who love Him and are Called according to His purpose (Romans 8:38)." What never ceases to amaze me is that He does it down to the minutest detail! Even here, even for me, even with this one word of Wisdom from His Book, even through FR and through you to me, Mayor! O! Awesome, glorious Father! Thank You for Who You Are and How You Move on our behalf as Your Children in Jesus Christ Your Beloved!
My prayers are focused on my brother's family and specifically his wife and how my sister and I and our dad can help them in their functional family dynamics. It is such a delicate matter and previous attempts to "bind up" and to "restore" and to "heal" have not been successful. Oh, what wisdom and gentleness is needed!
I can't thank our Lord enough for the happy moving of His Power and Love this morning through that specific devotion and through you, Mayor!
Father, help me live today
With thoughtfulness in what I say,
Confronting wrong with truth and fact,
Expressing gentleness and tact. Hess
Amen.

Slander seeks to destroy; rebuke seeks to restore. That proverb is right in line with this one:
Better is open rebuke
than hidden love.
Proverbs 27:5
I've also spent much time contemplating Proverbs 17:17a
A friend loves at all times.
I've spent so much time with that little pearl of wisdom and instruction because I have not yet learned what love looks like in every single situation. Our Lord and His Word give us "all we need for life and godliness," truly, but applying that "all" with wisdom in every circumstance requires insight beyond what I currently have! (And yet, My Jesus Christ has shown me that "in the multitude of counselors there is wisdom," that "His Word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path," and that His Manna to me is "daily". Amen.)
Truly it is Christ Jesus that is the Friend Who Always Loves, who always knows how to love, for love comes in many forms, even in rebuke, as your devotion so truthfully points out! I so want to "grow up into Him who is my Head!"

WHOA! Look at what I just received via email from "Daily Manna from the Net"!!!
And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that! you may be able to discern what is best! and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ--to the glory and praise of God.
Philippians 1:9-11 NIV
Now, if that's not manifest evidence of the God of my Salvation Who is Intimately Acquainted with me and all my ways, then I don't know what is! (:
Oh, thank You, YOU! My Father, Lord, and Husband! My Brother and Best Friend! My Counselor and Teacher and High Priest and Intercessor! Hallelujah to the King of Kings! You are Faithful and You are True! You are so incredibly Gracious and so Compassionate! Thank You, thank You, thank You!
Kitty Mittens, my dear Sister, your prayers for me have contributed to this Grace. Thank you, my darling.

The Mansions of the Lord Click the picture for music
To fallen soldiers let us sing Where no rockets fly nor bullets wing Our broken brothers let us bring To the Mansions of the Lord No more bleeding, no more fight No prayers pleading through the night Just divine embrace, eternal light To the Mansions of the Lord. Where no mothers cry and no children weep We will stand and guard though the angels sleep Through the ages safely keep The Mansions of the Lord. |
