Do you happen to have a source on Swann's "pro-life" position?
Thanks!

I'm sorry, I must be getting a different web page than you. Nowhere on the Swann website does he articulate any of the things you suggest. In fact, there isn't one specific proposal or program on the entire website. The man has been mulling this run for a year now. Hasn't he figured out what he believes in yet?

It's going to take a bit more than name recognition to put even a slight dent in Rendell's advantage in Pittsburg and Philly. I can understand that after Mike Fisher (I've seen corpses with more personality), anyone would look more appealing, but one would hope we could someone with an actual program to run. Mr. Swann's stirring plan for Pennsylvania consists of nothing more than non-specific platitudes:

Creating Economic Opportunities

The greatest challenge of the next Governor is to put Pennsylvania’s economy back on track.

Preparing Our Children to Compete

“The most basic job of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is to provide an education that will lead to opportunity for our children."

Pennsylvania Values

Pennsylvania values have always been about hard work, determination, and the will to succeed.

No substance and not all that much style.
