The 'Rats have many core principles: abortion, subsidies, union power (especially government unions), supporting the UN without question, running our lives and taking our money. How many democRats don't work for those in Congress on a daily basis?
Now, list the core principles of the Republican Party, explain for us how they are achieving them and show where they haven't backed down on campaign promises. Go ahead; we're waiting.
