It mentions House leadership, which was Delay. I remember the threads from a year ago. I couldn't find any of them and didn't want to spend a half hour looking. If you care, you look 'em up. My memory is accurate.

Your link simply says "leadership". It offers no named sources. It also says that leadership wanted to reform our nation's intelligence agencies as soon as possible. It didn't say that leadership didn't want immigration reform.

There's a logical difference.

If you wish to make a point, you should demonstrate it. Else you haven't made a point.

If you want to say it referred to some backbencher, well, then find some stories that show who it was.
