Mayor says office mistakenly used for campaign work (CT Govnr Race - Yup, More Yankee Hypocrisy)

NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- The secretary to Mayor John DeStefano Jr. and her City Hall telephone should not have been used to receive calls for a gubernatorial campaign event earlier this week, the mayor's spokesman said Thursday.

An invitation was recently sent for a campaign event at DeStefano's home following his inauguration for a sixth term on New Year's Day.

The invitations were paid for by "DeStefano for Connecticut" but did not indicate whether the event was tied to the inaugural ceremony or a gubernatorial campaign effort.

DeStefano is seeking the Democratic nomination for governor.

The invitations directed those who planned to attend to reply to the mayor's secretary at her city extension.

"It was a gubernatorial event and her name, it seems, should not have been there," Slap said in response to an inquiry by the New Haven Register.

Basically this Nim Whit mayor of New Haven (Destefano) has been all huffed at Governor Rell over the last two weeks, accusing her of 'campaigning on the job' where she asked some comissioners to pass out invitations for a fundraser. Meanwhile, it turns out he's using his Mayoral office for his own campaign against her for the Governorship -- And yes...COMPLETE WITH THE INVITATIONS!

Here is another article on it...but the source is not very trustworthy IMO (sort of lib leaning).

He must be a Democrat because it's not noted anywhere. If he was a Republican it would be mentioned three times in each paragraph

Hillary, as I recall.
That was amazing, wasn't it.
She obviously didn't know it was an acronym,
and that the S.N. stands for
"Situation Normal"

It's spelled 'hypocrite'. Hippocrates wrote the Hippocratic Oath that MDs used to have to swear.

The noun is properly spelled 'hypocrisy'.

Lotta snafus for her, eh?

Well, I dunno about you, but it's certainly normal for me to have 900+ FBI files on my enemies sitting on my cofee table.

Yes, but a hippo crate is what's used to transport Teddy.

I pointed that out not because I think there are more crooks in the Democrat Party, its because the media never fails to omit Party affiliation when a Democrat is in the hot seat, yet they never mention the name "Abramoff" without calling him a Republican.

I believe if we are going to be the Party we all want it to be, we must reject the crooks within our Party and be the first to denounce them. This is a practice the Democrats will never adopt, nor will the main stream media denounce them, unless of course its a Republican.

We have seen "Duke" Cunningham disgrace his office and the MSM was their to cover his public statement LIVE, Chuck Schumer and his cohorts at the Democrat Senatorial Committee can steal Lt. Gov of MD, Michael Steele's personal credit report and there is absolutely no coverage. Can you imagine if Sen. Dole's Senatorial Committee staffers stole a Democrat candidate for the U.S. Senate personal credit report????

I'm sure Lindsey Graham and John McCain would be the first to call for Senator Dole to step down as the Chair

Exactly the illegal crooked criminal federal and state felony methods used by (dim-NY) Chuckie Schumer when he was in the New York state legislature and used his official NYS office, staff, payroll, equipment, phones, expenses, and other finances to run for the US House of Representatives.

But like Hillary Klintoon who paid only a dinky $35,000 FEC fine for illegally deliberately not reporting "over $700,000" in campaign contributions from Peter Paul...... "Chucky the Schemer" skated without being indicted, tried, convicted, and imprisoned.

"My staffers did it - I was not involved!" - but then Chuckie Shumer's own two DC staffers since illegally sought and obtained the Social Security number and credit records of (black Republican) MD Lt. Governor Steele in Maryland to use against his run for US Senate seat.

"This was a single incident and no other senator or candidate's credit report was accessed. This has been stated repeatedly by the DSCC." -- Senator Chuckie Schumer - chairman of the democrat Senate Campaign Committee

("I only killed him once!")

Well!

That makes everything hunky-dory now!

MoveOn.FEC & DOJ & "Patsy" Fitzgerald!

Excuseeeeeeee me!
