Good. I like the idea of military personnel confronting these congressional idiots.

I like the idea of our military personnel shooting them as traitors and domestic enemies of the Constitution.

Wow, what a wussout Murtha pulled. Of course we didn't see this in the articles about the meeting yesterday.
I thought I might--might--reapect him if he at least had the courage of his convictions, but running away from that brave soldier like that is disgraceful demagoguery.

Jerks. Wonder if it's only Moran pulling Murtha's strings nowadays. With any luck maybe ABSCAM will catch up to him.

Has his party got something on him!

My take is that somebody's got "pictures" of Murtha...kinda like many of suspect there are pics of Scott Ritter and little 'brown Iraqi children'.

Ha... this fool thinks that invoking a point of parliamentary procedure will save him from what that soldier just did to him? Hillarious. The GOP campaign ads are just piling up. I hope this was caught on tape.

I mean, seriously, what a tool. One of our fighting men addresses a congressman and he just ignores him. What a disgrace.

Open letter to Sgt Mark Seavey
Thank you and God Bless You Sgt Mark Seavey.
You are one of our HERO'S we refer to often when we discuss pride and admiration of our splendid military.
You risk your life so my children, grandchildren and their children may continue to live a life of freedom.

"...I don't know who you two are talking to but the morale of the troops is very high."They're talking to the same 'sources' that the media uses...imaginative leftists who just can't stand that icky war stuff and want to go back to party town with the Clintons.
Bravo and thank you, Mark Seavey!

I don't know, but the Chairman of the JCS, General Pace, in his most diplomatic officerese, bluntly disagreed with Rep Murtha and his statements about the military. He was quite clear that he felt Murtha's statements as harmful and irresponsible, and I got the distinct impression that the general isn't going to let the issue drop.

He wussed out the only way he knew how: tried to call him on a procedural point, maybe in the hopes of getting his remark stricken from the record or something. Lefties can't hack it outside of a controlled environment.

The old proverb comes to mind: All power tends to corrupt and absolute power tends to corrupt absolutely... perhaps it should be modified to include blind pursuit of absolute power corrupts even more even more absolutely.
To: PJ-Comix
"Moran - who is one of the few congressmen supporting Charlie Rangel's call to restore the draft - responded quickly: "That wasn't in the form of a question, it was in the form of a statement. But, uhh... let's go over here." And he took the next question."
It is obvious that there is no end to the disrespect and disregard some of our 'elected representatives' harbor for the men and woman who serve this nation.
